Overview of the Fortis Shift
The Fortis Shift Short Angled Grip was designed to coincide with modern gun fighting techniques. It also integrated form with functionality. The Shift grip is a non-conventional hybrid grip that is designed to give you better comfort and control over your rifle. The innovative design is able to be utilized as either a comfortable and stop or as an angled grip to facilitate a c-clamp or thumb over bore grip.
Built to Last
The Fortis Shift is made from quality materials and has a very robust design. The short angled grip is machined from a billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. This is an aircraft grade aluminum that is known for it’s high strength and relatively low weight. After machining the aluminum is them finished with a very tough mil-spec type III hard coat anodizing. This anodizing gives the shift it’s black color and enhances corrosion and wear resistance.
The Fortis Short Angled Grip is an extremely versatile accessory. It is KeyMod compatible, which allows it to be easily and quickly installed onto any KeyMod compatible interface. In addition to this, the Fortis Shift can function in many different roles. For instance, the grip can be used as either a hand stop or as an angled grip to facilitate a thumb over bore or c-clamp grip. In addition to this, the grip can also be used as a barrier brace. When shooting over a barrier, such as a wall, you can press the grip into the barrier to create more stability and get a more stable sight picture.
