The LANTAC Dragon Muzzle Brake is a unique muzzle device with a patent pending design. During development, the goal of this muzzle device was to reduce felt recoil, and muzzle climb to allow the shooter to produce accurate, aimed fire at a faster pace. The engineers at LanTac were able to accomplish this with a 3-port muzzle brake design, with 4 top ports to produce a compensation effect. This uniquely designed muzzle device results in, what LanTac calls its Short Energy Pulse System. LanTac claims that their Dragon muzzle brake will reduce the length of the recoil impulse. This will then, in turn, prevent the recoil impulses from overlapping and building upon each other.
This muzzle device is designed for used with a .308 caliber projectile, including .308 Winchester, 7.62x41mm, .300 Blackout, etc. The LanTac Dragon is made from hardened mil-spec steel and has a nitride finish for increased corrosion and wear resistance. This muzzle device has 5/8×24 UNEF Right hand threads. The LanTac Dragon muzzle brakes are serial numbered for quality control purposes.
