Tannerite exploding targets can be a great addition to your trips to the shooting range. These exploding target are purposefully design to be non-incendiary, meaning that they will not cause a fire.
This explosive is safe to transport. This is a binary explosive meaning that there are two chemical that must be mixed together before the explosive is activated. When the chemicals are separated, they are extremely safe. With this, these exploding targets do not require a HazMat fee when shipping, so they can be shipped with our same flat rate shipping price.
Once the two chemicals of the binary explosive have been mixed together they will explode when they are hit by a bullet. This bullet must be traveling at a velocity no slower than 2000 feet per second. When the prepared explosive is shot by a high velocity round, it will result in a loud report, and it will also produce a water vapor cloud.
These tannerite exploding targets are to be used as shot indicators. They are an excellent reactive target to let you know if you hit the target or not.
